Essentially the Land Tamer is a boat with wheels. Add our Optional Water Propulsion System and it becomes a powerboat with wheels allowing it to cross larger rivers and small lakes that plastic recreational vehicles can not attempt safely. Because the Land Tamer design has the benefit of a hydraulic drive system, our engineers took advantage of this feature and utilized it to maximize travel speed in water. We do this by diverting some of the hydraulic flow to a hydraulically driven propeller. This optional feature can be easily installed or removed from the Land Tamer hitch receiver on the rear of the vehicle in 1 minute or less. It also allows from the driver’s seat, the ability to raise and lower the prop, power the prop in forward or reverse direction and right or left steering. What a great concept!
